Finding the people
A Race Too Far is unique. Never before have the key people spoken in one book. Some have said little for decades, preferring to hide away from the banner headlines of 40 years ago. Now they have chosen to share their stories.

Chris Eakin has tracked down and contacted all six surviving competitors and the families of the other three. To speak to them, he has travelled from the West Country to the Channel Islands, from the South of France to Galway.
